Blanson CTE High School is proud to present Miguel Chacon, Emily Calleja and Josue Lopez Davila as its Student Employees of the Month for November.

Miguel is an 11^th grader in the Academy of Information and Engineering. Miguel’s program of study is Computer Programming and Game Design. After Miguel finishes up at Blanson, he plans on attending the University of Texas or Stanford and work in the software development field. Miguel was nominated by Mr. Rodriguez, the Computer Programming and Game Design teacher.

Emily Calleja is a 9^th grader in the Academy of Construction, Manufacturing, and Automotive Technology. Emily’s program of study is Construction Technology. After graduating from Blanson, Emily plans on going to college to become an architect. Emily was nominated by Ms. Burns, the HVAC teacher.

Josue Lopez Davila is a 12^th grader in the Academy of Health and Human Services. Josue’s program of study is Dental Assistant. When he found out he was named Student Employee of the Month, Josue said “I was surprised and honored to get this opportunity to become an Employee of the Month for the HHS academy. This special opportunity made me realize that I can achieve anything and that I can do my best to succeed in the future.”  After graduating from Blanson at the end of this school year, he plans on attending either Texas A&M to pursue a degree in Nursing or the University of Texas-Health Science Center in Houston to pursue a degree in Dentistry. Josue was nominated by Ms. Lovatos, the Dental Assistant teacher.

Each month, one student from each of the three CTE academies at Blanson is chosen by the CTE teachers as Student Employee of the Month. Congratulations to Miguel, Emily and Josue for attaining such an honor.
