EMERGE

• EMERGE is a Houston-based college-readiness program that prepares high-performing high school students, in grades 10-12, to attend and graduate from selective colleges and universities across the nation. The program will be open to any Aldine ISD high school sophomore that meets the program’s requirements.

Virtual Learning Online

• Certified teachers work with students in the taking Virtual School courses. The affordable option provides students the flexibility to complete classes online through web-based lessons at their own pace. Additionally, students can earn credit needed to graduate from high school.

Early Childhood

The district’s award-winning early childhood program at 12 schools across Aldine ISD gives students a leg up on math, literacy, and their future. Studies show that kids who attend public preschool programs are better prepared for kindergarten than kids who don’t. The benefits of preschool may extend far beyond academics. Preschool brings long-term gains in high school, college graduation, and employment. Families do have to apply and qualify for the program.
