“Employees of the Month”

August/September 2021

Construction, Manufacturing, and Automotive Technology–Diego Solorio, 12th grade

Diego serves as Classroom Manager for Diesel Tech 2. He is always the 1st student in the classroom and the last student to leave. He is accountable for attendance and organization of the classroom. Diego is an outstanding student! He completes all assignments on time and helps other students complete their assignments. His leadership in the shop and classroom are evident in the other students’ accomplishments. Diego is one of my best students and will be taking his ASE certifications in April. He is completing all dual credit requirements. 

Health and Human Services–Pedro Rodriguez, 12th grade

This student is very involved in CTSO – HOSA. Even though he is not a HOSA Officer, he is always volunteering to help take pictures at our meetings/events. Pedro is always available to help out his HOSA Officers by talking to teachers about their projects, helping create the posters, and speaking to HOSA members. I see great leadership qualities in him. 

Information and Engineering Technology–Genesis Gonzalez, 12th grade

Genesis is one of the seniors in our program. She has consistently helped in our program areas such as the organization of the teacher supply room and SkillsUSA. She is very dependable and reliable. Genesis always has a positive attitude, and it shows in the classroom and her current projects we are currently working on. You will hear her reminding her classmates to stay on task and ensure the job gets done. Genesis has completed her CLT/CLA certifications for the program. She has also completed the Business Communication Course from the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, funded by the University of Houston. Genesis is on pace to graduate with five certifications.
