Next week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. During this time of uncertainty, teachers have been a constant presence and support in helping our students maintain some semblance of normalcy.
The teachers at Blanson have had to adapt from teaching in a classroom to a group of students to teaching virtually to students through laptops or cellphones. Teachers are learning to adapt to new technologies and new ways of teaching in order to help students who are staying at home to try to stay current and be prepared for the next school year. Teachers are not just teaching, but they are also helping our students by just being there for their students by listening to their concerns and simply being a calming presence in their lives.
At Blanson Career and Technical Education High School, we appreciate all that our teachers do for our students and community and are thankful that they have chosen to work at Blanson.
